Fiona is 5 years old. Her father died from HIV AIDS and her mother is HIV positive. She lives with her grandparents and 8 other relatives in a small house with very little food to go around.
She has been accepted at HOPE Primary School, Kasenjegge and needs a sponsor to thrive in her studies, nutritional health and a sense of hope for her future.
Esther Mapenzi
Esther Mapenzi was born in 1996, in Bunia DRC. Due to the civil war in Bunia/Ituri, her family life has been tragically altered.
The relatives who care for her are unable to provide financial support for her schooling and medical needs. Meeting her family's basic nutritional needs is sometimes very difficult.

I was born in Rwanda I am from the Munyarwanda tribe. My family survived genocide in Rwanda and now my father is living in exile because he is a hunted man. I do not know his name.
My mother fled Rwanda while pregnant. My mother is a Tutsi and my father is a Hutu. My mother and I live at the church. In the future I want to play football and become a mechanic. My health is good. I am in top class.
Florence Nabawanuka
Both of my parents died of AIDS related illnesses. I live with some relatives in a small house in a semi rural area.
I am in school but have great dificulty because I have some form of mental disability. I would like to gain some vocational training so that I can get employment in the future. My health is good. I am in P7 at Blessed Parents School.
