We first met Lulenti and Mary Ssali in 2000 in the sugar cane plantations of Kakira. The poverty and needs of hundreds of orphans and the struggle of the labourers  to simply survive. Through our newly formalised partnership, we have commenced a farming project and various small businesses to commence destitute widows and their children on a path of financial and life recovery.
