Our home in the village. Here is the kitchen where Ps. John and the family cared for us so well.

A team from HOPE visited this village in 2003 with partner COME and has since helped with bush materials and iron sheets to build 2 classrooms next to the mud brick church. The school commenced and has 2 unqualified teachers working with 50 children with many others turned away due to lack of space, staff and facilities. Our goal is to provide this new work with qualified teachers and purchase 2 acres of land opposite the church/school for building permanent classrooms, staff quarters, a horticultural project and future medical clinic. Our heart is to also provide Bible School training for the many untrained pastors in the region. Immediate needs are:

Purchase 2 acres for $2000AUD
Build classrooms and facilities at cost of $5000/room
Employ teachers at cost $110AUD/month each
Sponsor the orphans and needy children
